Writer's Block: You're a Winner!
When I was about 10, I won a drawing at the local library, and my prize was a Little Mermaid beach ball. I think that was the only time I won something- aside from the recent vacation I won, but that was a timeshare scam, so I don't know if it counts.

Tattoo!
I have finally decided what I'm going to get a tattoo of. It's my favorite line from an ee cummings poem:
"i like my body when it is with
your body. It is so quite new a thing."
I'm going to get it tattooed vertically along my ribcage right under my left armpit (so you could theoretically read it if I was lying on my back). I am so excited. And ( Read more... ) -
Take a couple of laps in the talent pool...
The talent pool in New York City is incredible. Listening in on callbacks today, it was incredible hearing how people were able to take such varied approaches to the same song, and it was incredible how many people just plain kicked ass.
