It rained for the first time in two months today.
No one ran, nothing flooded.
Instead the people all came out of shops and houses to watch all the dust wash away,
all the oak trees and dying grass soaking up the water,

and some people smiled.

Today was actually pretty damn good. Ring mass and blue skies and cucumber ice cream. Nice.
