decisions, decisions

I've found myself stuck with what will be a difficult decision over the past few days. As I've said before, I'm practically working two jobs. I've got GameStop, and I've got the whole show doing thing. It's unfortunately come to my attention that I don't believe I can continue to do both at once. As I stated before, I've become unsure that I want ( Read more... )

:-( I say stick with the most logical option (gamestop), but don't stop writing and practicing. Eventually, things will work out, and you'll have more time for your music.

I... never mind.

I will stick by you whatever you decide. But like the other two said, I think that you should stick to Gamestop. You need to have a source of income that is dependable. Music can always be a part of your life. You are with me after all and I'm a flute player and a singer and just because I decided not to major in music does not mean that flute is still a big part of my life. I need you around, I really do.
I love you so much.

I agree with what's been said about sticking with Gamestop. That said, I know several people who do occasional gigs while still working full time jobs. I think it's perfectly possible to be a casual performing musician while maintaining a job. Whether that's perfectly possible for you specifically I don't know (after all, I'm not you), but there are folks out there who do it.

Well, GameStop is the more practical of the two. You can still do occasional gigs, as well as write new songs.

BUT, you have to follow your heart, too. If you think you'll be a lot happier in music, that's what you should do. (This is coming from Miss Practical, too.)

Think and pray about it. :) Remember, you don't have to make a decision now. There are also other possibilities that you haven't even thought of. Don't feel limited now.

I think you should do neither. Also, you should cease bathing, eating and sleeping. Focus all of your time on harnessing the raw power of the salmon. Once you properly understand the sheer magnitude of kickassery the salmon provides, there will be no need to think about your future. For you shall know what it is, the almighty salmon will show you the way.
