Funny, I just ate salmon tonight. It WAS very good, but it is only fish. I think you should work at Gamestop, do the occasional gig, and look for something that really makes you passionate and eager to get up in the morning. You will be good at a job you love, not one you do out of habit. Good luck in whatever you choose, we are all rooting for you.

I know I am going to sound nuts, but keep both up. Get a weekend off work take it and maybe play a show. Don't totally give up on your music, but the whole real-world gaurenteed paycheck thing is really nice and something that's almost a must have.
