I got a new initiation into my workplace last night. The "let's steal scrubs from OB" initiation. Ugh. I will not go into the gory details, but it was bad enough that two of us needed clean pants and the nurse that ran over to OB to steal pants, grabbed a third pair just incase someone else hadn't inspected their pants well enough ( Read more... )

Although when I was giving report to the nurse she started giggling, "You broke his penis!"
I didn't break it that bad.

Two more weeks of school and I'm kind of shocked I managed to pass my first semester of nursing school.

It's spring break!

Guess who managed to get herself a lovely case of influenza? *dies*
I've barely left my bed since noon yesterday.

Wow, the last week has been insane. I started clinicals which is fun. I have one very independent nursing home patient that I get to talk with most of the day. I also get to give him his meds and insulin if he needs it.
