Bliss!
I have to say that my Saints championship hat arrived today, and I am ridiculously excited.
It's just unfairly cool to wear the same look that was in the field on that magic day.
I would also get a kick out of the colts hats that never got taken out of the boxes, but those are hard to find.

The best part, by far, about the Saints winning?
The 20 or so texts I got within 5 minutes. After my first reply got interrupted twice, I gave up and let the good times flow.
And next year, everyone else can hate me because my team already won one! -

Picking up old habits...
I'm playing Magic with actual people. I am trading cards and making new decks.
This is a fairly notable accomplishment for me, given that there's blessed few people in my social circle who are still here and still playing.

Death (no taxes)
kismetrose got me thinking about death's impact on my life.
I haven't had to deal with a lot of death and loss yet, on a personal level.
For good or ill, all of my grandparents died after I had a chance to say goodbye. In some cases, teh farewell tour was in a hospital, other times, they came out here.
