I admit it, I've got every Wheel of Time book. The series started incredibly, and had the potential for amazingness. The man has an attention for detail and weaving plotlines....but it's gotten out of hand

I know when it'll end, Cliff. It'll end when Robert Jordan dies. That way, he'll have income for the rest of his life and will die very wealthy. Of course, that means the fans will never know what actually happens at the end, but oh well, I'm sure that doesn't phase Mister Jordan. (Besides, his fans should be used to that by now.)
You know, I've thought of this. It would open the path for someone to finish it, just like what's-his-name's Tenth.
Or, better yet, he's already dead and the publishers are hushing it up for a couple years...stockpiling his works for a blitz after death, as they did to Tupac.
Or maybe he never really existed. Having those books written by committee would explain why they take up so damn much time and energy and yet get nothing accomplished.
But, if they have someone finish it after he dies, fear not: They'll get one of the biggest writers in the genre, whose work in no way resembles Jordan's, to finish it and drive the final agonizing nail home in the fans' hearts.
Ever seen the teen series books by V.C. Andrews? Well, good old V.C. died in the 1980s. Everything has been ghost written since then under her name. Robert Jordan could just keep going after he's been put in the grave.
