Sunday Snippet
We went to the library today and I got two books I had on hold - Dooce's book and Kristin Chenoweth's book (and also Sarah Dunn's The Big Love - it's chick lit time). I've been reading Dooce's book for a couple hours now and I cannot stop laughing out loud. Brett was at the computer playing WoW while I was laying on the bed, laughing my butt off. SNOT. Filled with snot. Congested-y, runny snot.
GROSS.
I was up half the night trying to breathe out of my nose so that I wouldn't wake my boyfriend up being a mouth-breather. I feel like I need one of those bulb things they use on babies.
Sigh.

He let me stay in bed a few more minutes and left keys to his place for me to lock up when I left.
About fifteen minutes after he left, I got a text message that said, "How can I miss you already?" I couldn't help but reply, "Because I have your heart." He said, "Smile. Yes you do, baby."

Also, I made dinner last night. This recipe from Jayesel.net. It was quick, easy and so incredibly good. I don't cook much, so I was incredibly nervous about that, but it came out great. I got many praises. The leftovers were even great at eleven last night. Mmmmmm. -

I'm a huge ball of insecurity. There's a war inside me - the part of me that's happy and the part of me that wants to shoot down the happy. Why do I do that? I need to somehow kill the part that is being insecure and bringing happy me down.
It's not good. Not good.
