That calf is incredible-- it's a wonder it survived birth.

It looks so odd! Almost as if it was manipulated in photobooth or something, haha.

You back in Boston for Spring semester?

I started today. I'm already missing being on break, and I haven't even officially attended class yet.

Not quite yet. I get back to Boston on Friday and then classes begin on Tuesday. This is my first winter break where I absolutely have no desire to even go back to Boston. Plus I've never liked Spring semester. And after this one, I'll be a senior? Crap. How's your upcoming semester looking though?

That's so cool! Also, way to make me feel bad about myself. No big deal that she did that as an undergraduate.

And don't worry about the timeliness! Not all of mine were that recent either.

Oh, heck, I know. She said she just found something that was half discovered and just finished it. That's the secret to success.

Also, I just found this:

Field workerse in Bangladesh have taken to wearing face masks on the back of their heads so that tigers who sneak up on them think that they have lost the element of surprise.

I like having someone I can share animal facts with. They're the best.
