....the 1 year anniversary since I lost my mom to cancer. It seems like forever since I have talked with her yet it seems like just yesterday that she passed. I love you Mom. :(

Thanks for the hug....I needed one. I figured you could relate to my post based on a posting or two of yours before.

sometimes having something small in common like this can really connect people...regardless of how many miles away....or if you never spoke any other way...sometimes there are just certain things that connect you.

if you ever need to talk, i'm here. more hugs!

Thank you. I'll keep that in mind. It really does make a person feel good when they get comments like these. Even though I don't know any of you personally, I feel a true care/concern just from a few typed words. :)

I'm sorry, I feel your loss. My family moved up here to Virginia to be with my in laws... my father in law had just had a liver transplant. It was successful, but on Dec.6th, his birthday, he succumbed to cancer.

Thanks for replying to my post. It's sometimes comforting to know that there are others out there who share your feelings/pain over a loved one. I'm sorry to hear about your father-in-law. Just when he thought he had gotten back control of his life (with the liver transplant), that ugly word that starts with a "c" ends up taking it away.

Take care,
Scott
