i didn't realize till just a second that i shook george clinton's hand yesterday. this has definitely been a big hand shake year for me. stretch armstrong and thursday both asked me to tour for them. it was a long sober night. and the place was hot as fuck, body to body it was like libertyville highschool in the dark in august. there was no place ( Read more... )

I feel like being anonymous today, like a ninja!
Your openness is honestly a big reason why I got into your music. I know that all music written by artists, hell any type artists, is a reflection on their own emotions but having the LJ and not being a tool and running to your veichle after the shows makes it more relateable. You are just a normal guy, not Harry Potter. My guess is a lot of your fans dont realize that you do have emotional issues, you seem like a bipolar person (i am not a therapist!), or they dont think about that before approaching you.

Just so ya know, there are people who enjoy your posts because they want you to be happy. I don't think anyone that reads your LJ wants anything different... Personally, my favorite posts are the ones where you get excited about things and show that you're just like the rest of us... a fanboy. Only you made it. We haven't... yet.

Enjoy your life, Chris. It's the only one you've got. Don't let people get to you and don't let other people's needs come before your own - because if you're not 100%, how can you give any part of yourself to someone else in any aspect? It won't be there to give. So chin up and carry on, soldier... walk it off... or tour it off, in this case ;)

I read everyone else's comments, and basically I think we are all on the same page. We all feel like its not a big deal if you need to pull away and keep off the freaks, thats cool man.

This year there will be more cutting edge political wit and satire, and less random arbitrary humour that doesn't make sense. Isn't that right, Fidel Castro Rabbit DJ?
