Apparently Mitch Hedburg died today.

I saw him last year. Well, I went to see Louis Black, but Mitch was the best opening act.

Sad.

An escalator can never break. It can only become stairs. You would never see a escalator temporarily outta order sign, just escalator temporarily stairs. Sorry for the convenience... we appologize for the fact that

I remember some of the stuff sounding absolutely great, and then a few others where I thought he didn't know when to end the damn song. It was definitely an experience either way.

He didn't really have a band, he would just play a bunch of parts before the song really started (that normally sounded like they were part of the song until you saw him hitting pedals and buttons) and then at appropriate times later in the song he would hit the button that made that part loop. Playing with these toys was how some of the songs never seemed to end when they should have.

It was still very cool, and I wish I could remember more of it.

No, I wasn't drunk. I only had 3 rum and cokes all night, and was on-call for work (and not driving my own car) so I had to behave.
