I can be incredibly happy without seeing a single soul but my dad and my dog. Said dad thinks this is weird, anti-career behavior that suggests the loss of fundamental social mechanisms, but in an indulgent, look-at-my-daughter-the-sociopath way. (He also thinks I am the only twenty-something that listens - frequently and fondly - to classic rock.

I've made friends with the hodgepodge that is Britain, really. I have...one properly British friend, and all of my other friends are what you find in London - Bengali, Portuguese, German, etc. 'British' is kind of a relative term now. ;)

I changed my number the same day I graduated high school. Sometimes its good to take a break from people you know, puts things into perspective on who you truly value in your life. A fresh start doesn't necessarily have to start off with a BANG - it can creep along slowly be something you can take your time into growing into.

And yes, gardening. XD I've wanted to grasp the ropes of basic gardening forever, and though I can remember having a little patch of things as a kid, I want to be able to grow my own food and kind of... have the swing of horticulture, if that makes sense? I had horses when I was younger, and one thing I really enjoyed about the experience was figuring out... the ins and outs of an organism, via analytic / abstract accounts of the critter... and then applying it. I'm trying to do the same thing with the plants: figure out how they work, and experimenting on the basis of that knowledge ( ... )

I did a whole intro post thing in my journal a little while back. But TL;DR version is basically;
Hello, my name is Tove. I'm 25 and live in Oslo with my boyfriend Christian. I don't really talk about him on my journal, but I use the collective "we" a lot, which can seem a bit strange if you don't know that I live with this other person :x
I watch lots of films and play a lot of video games.
I work as a translator at a busy, busy translating firm in Oslo.
