Mark and Bill did WELL this week. I think they would have been first to the Pit stop if Mark's pack hadn't broken, and if Bill had been able to be a little more deceptive with the whiney blond wife of the football player. Glad you made it safely. Yes, they do seem to run wild on the train...And yes they are in various stages of drunk. I think the only time it is quiet-ish is during the morning commute from SD to LA. Every time I have been on a train it was noisier than other transportation. It has gotten worse everywhere every year. xoM

I loved the Yoda imitation. Chelsea and I both rolled our eyes and laughed. But 2nd place is not bad at all. ;-) Although I agree they could have easily won.

How many more months before Vence is out????

The long bus rides I've been on have always been more like the plane rides as far as how the passengers act. Once in a while you will have a wild group. Most bus drivers don't put up with that though.

If he is in the next DAP group, he'll be back in August. If it's the one after that, then October.

I was truly surprised at the whole "city bus/trolley" mentality on the train. I wasn't expecting that at all, the other times I've been on a train it was not like that. Having people standing in the stairwell/aisles/etc. couldn't have been safe, but they were crammed in there like sardines. The conductor announced that you "do not buy a *seat* on the train, just a *ride* on the train". Makes it much easier to understand how so many people get hurt during train crashes.
