WHEDON CON!!!: Day One.

My official rundown of one of the most epic days to have ever epic'ed. And, also, this isn't strictly Whedon as I had to go see Joe Flanigan after that article yesterday. I was not disappointed. My pictures came out kick ass too.

When you say twitter you mean? I woke up this morning and there were a lot of people commenting and I wasn't quite sure how they found my journal.

I know it's not the most extensive retelling, but I put in the moments I loved.

Wow, that was an epic day. Thanks so much for jotting it down and providing such pretty pictures.

I love how Joe speaks his mind. I've always appreciated his honesty and intelligence. And he knows Paul Allen? Whew!

It was really epic. So was today, even if Creation had to give face time to the SGU peeps. I was blissfully unaware of their existence by being in the Whedon room. Things keep coming back to me about what they said. I mean Joe talked for like more than an hour and I missed some of it. He said a lot of really cool things.

He doesn't know Paul Allen, but I guess a female friend of his does and Paul Allen allowed her to have his boat for a Halloween party.

After I read a stupid opinion article that said SGA fans were punishing SGU and basically responsible for the low ratings, I needed to hear Joe talk about how they were all douchebags. He really just told the fans everything and didn't sugarcoat it at all. He was vague though, which you gotta give him credit for because I would be like Brad Wright and Robert Cooper and Joe M suck so much.

Joe did say he hated boats, but he loved that one and he wanted to try and become best friends with Paul Allen. He was going to work the scifi angle because Paul Allen apparently loves scifi

Cons are so amazing. It can be exhausting and you wait around a lot, but it's one of the best experiences ever. My first con was actually a Stargate one so it's really great that Creation keeps them going.

I saw that one through sheafrotherdon. The more fans, the merrier :)

You know if you're going to see Joe, you're going to have a good time. He's hilarious and outrageous and just simply awesome. I really wanna go to one with both him and Hewlett. Those are like seriously epic. Glad you liked the report!
