Production update.

We've had one of the warmest Mays here on record in Tassie. Which sucks, because I like rain and cold, as I may have mentioned before - so much better for working indoors over a drawing table! Fortunately though, the rest of the week is promising rain - but that's happened before and it hasn't come. Gahh, stupid Aussie weather ( Read more... )

Michelle will be happy. I don't usually like chicken, so I'm keen to find out if Nandos is up to snuff....

Well, there's a heck of a lot of chicken there - I think the meat is all chicken? They do grilled corn, as well...

It's being run by the Tasmanian Museum, and it's in North Hobart. I'll post details closer to the date, but I'll understand if mainlanders can't make it due to the large body of water between us. :D

Sounds like a wonderful excuse to build an airship! Now al I need is some designs, materials, an army of cheap labour...

Maybe I should just get distracted by shiny things instead.

I like the rain and cold as well. I live in Florida so it probably isn't as hot as Australia but I feel your pain.

Portuguese flavoured chicken! You make me hungry!

I hope your well.

Take Care

Yeah, Tasmania is nearing the Antarctic waters. So It's always quite a bit colder than people think. I just like really cold days because I work at home - but I do feel the pain of people having to walk to work in hail. Urgh.

Hopefully the chicken will be good. We are crossing our fingers and toes! :D

It'll only going to be about 5 of us going tonight.
Unless some other people I don't know about turn up.

After all the raving I have put into this, I hope the Tassie store measures up to how I remember the Melbourne stores doing.
Otherwise I'm in trouble. ^^;;; Heheheh

Of course we have better chicken here in Tassie to what they get on the mainland. So maybe Nandos will be better. >:D

Yeah, if Hobart Nandos is no good, you and I are in a lot of trouble - our reputations get flushed down the toilet!

I'm jealous! I just worked out how old my scanner is - it's pre-marriage! It's at least 8-9 years old, and I spend hours cleaning up every image I scan...I've been just going 'Oh, I get paper dirty' but then I look at my pictures...

Arrgh, I can not believe yours is still alive after nine years. I wouldn't have replaced mine if it hadn't completely died - I only did so out of necessity. Otherwise I would have quite liked to have spent that money on something else. >:( Ahh well, maybe I can claim it on tax....

Having said that though, the price was okay...if you do a lot of digital colouring, you should think about getting a new one. I'm suprised at how much cleaner and bolder the images scanned through the new one look.
