After a diagnosis of an aggressive brain tumor, Lachlan Smith (usekh) has been given a limited amount of time left, somewhere between twelve and twenty four months. Review of Peninsula Hot Springs.
As one of the (many) lovely things given to me at my baby shower, a good friend (Jess Tuckerman, I'm naming her!) gave me a voucher for the services at Peninsula Hot Springs. This was a treatment for women in their third trimester, which I so definitely am - put it this way, I'm so close to the end I've stopped gaining weight.
Anyway!

HEALTH - Stupid instability
And out of physio for the pelvic instability. No more crutches (unless there are stairs to get up), I have a walking frame now, which is I suppose the next natural stage as everything gradually falls apart. The frame is a bit easier to use, more bulky but I can push things along in it and it has a built in chair and some carry space ( Read more... ) -
RANT - Health - knives!
Going to be a long whinge and maybe kind of gross.
But also kind of a rave.
Maybe venting will feel better, but...my pregnancy has kind of sucked. Not as bad as many people! The baby is fine, but the pelvic instability has made my life increasingly painful. Its led to a need for permanent low level pain relief and physio and I've just felt generally ( Read more... ) -
