You need to apply for the next one, pronto! How's work going, Shady?

Haha, what work? XD; Just kidding (sort of)...but yeah, I'm going to Kyoto for the year, so I can't seriously pursue any comic work until I come back. :( Alas, it'll be awhile before I'm even eligible for anything like this (if at all!). Though I may try my hands at Kodansha's 2nd International Contest if I have enough time while in Japan!

Woah, Kyoto for a year?? That would definitely be a trip of a lifetime! Make sure you bring a sun umbrella! I really loved Kyoto, but man was it hot (and humid...).

Let me first say how happy I am for you and how proud that you've won this award, and that you take the time to share your work and adventures with us, so glad the majority of your experiences were good ones.

Thanks a lot! The majority were good, but the bad memories (like leaving Kodansha) are the ones that tend to stick out. But I'm glad you're enjoying this. More to to come...
