It's times like these that I wish I didn't have anyone I know in person on my friends list - or anyone closer to me than vague acquaintances, to be honest. You know how I feel about the way some people act with these things. This has nothing to do with your post, I just mean that when it comes down to things happening, it's so much easier not to have to worry about things like being defriended from LJ or Facebook, you know?
I hope you two can remain friends. I know it isn't easy and I know it will take time, but being able to be in each other's presence and be civil, if not friendly, is a really nice thing.
I'm really glad to see a post from you - and not only a post, but a post longer than a few sentences! It's madness!
I hope that moving out will help you two rebuild your friendship from the ground up; it'd certainly be easier, I'd imagine, than having to see each other and (attempt to) be civil all the time. And maybe it's better that you can't read each other's LiveJournals for the time being. A little space is a very good thing.
I'm very excited for you about your apartment, though (and, as always, available to help with the move if you want some help!), and have great hope that your year will be of note as well. I believe in you, Mr. Jordan!
