Enjoy! I'm still sticking with my "old school" iPhone and am LOVING the fact that I can load real applications on it now. Check out Shazam and of course the iTunes Remote if you haven't already. Some very cool stuff going on with the iPhone now.

I got Shazam but haven't used it yet. I'm also loving the AOL and Pandora radio apps. nice to listen to random music you haven't heard before on it.

I can see sticking with the old one since its still basically the same hardware. the only thing it lacks is the real gps and 3g. The 3g is nice, but I'm near wifi more often than not.

The real gps is pretty damned impressive though. used it to get us to dinner in Alameda last night and I was amazed at the real time tracking. The Google maps app has some usability issues though that I hope they'll address. When you use it for directions, the tracking dot doesn't trigger the next turn when it passes it. And you can't keep it auto centered on your location, which makes it a pain if you're on the freeway, you have to keep dragging the screen if you're zoomed in too close.

Hopefully someone will write an app that improves on it and makes better use of the gps.

Heh, my old phone died last month, well it was mostly dead. The screen konked out and I've just waited for the iPhone.

Got to the line Friday at 6:30 and had the phone activated by 9:50, I was 105th in line.

So far really fun.
