So our new rain gear was delayed in getting to the office today.
Yes, it was delayed by rain!
The wind is so strong here we are not allowed to use the front doors. We must instead use the revolving door on the lee side of the building only.
I am so very glad I am not in the field today! -

Some nights I just can't sleep. I use to have more of these when I was in collage.

So my company won't give us New Years Eve off. So the entire Geoscience group is here, we just didn't want to use a vacation or sick day. Can't say the vibe here is all that motivated. I mean we are all getting ready to party tonight. What do they expect?

Home Sick
So I've been home most of this week recuperating from this cold/flue/evil virus. Yesterday I took my housemates advice and took a little walk. It's cold in our place and was actually warmer outside. Throwing in the towel
I gave up and called in sick. They made me work today but sent me home right after. The PM came up to help out (which involved a lot of him sitting around and me doing all the work).
