Its root beer soda, silly.
I'm afraid that baking soda would start fizzing in my tummy and pop something off like when I use to mix it with vinegar in soda bottles.

no it's pop not soda. soda is what you bake with pop is the carbonated drink.

Well, I was referring to the carbonated beverage but I was spooning a box of baking soda just now because I was curious and it does not taste anything like I had expected to. It kinda tickles my tounge and it feels like there's little people having a giant orgy in my mouth but that doesn't make up for how awful it tastes.
