I made it through the weekend and the desert/foothill air seems to have dried up my cold, despite it being damn cold at night. None of us got much sleep the first night as we realized that our 20 degree F (-7 C) sleeping bags were not warm enough. So, to add to my lack of sleep, a very freaky thing happened in the wee hours of the morning. First off, to set the stage, I never have my cell phone nearby when I go to sleep, it is usually left downstairs, but because of the girl scout sleepover I had to keep my cell nearby. I have had very little sleep this week and today was no exception. Got home last night around midnight, went to sleep around 2:30am, got up at 5:56 to be up east of LA between 8 and 9 for a seminar.
