Is it really sad that I felt like I had achieved some great victory when I got my approval notice? haha

Totally worth the wait :)

My first LJ entry states I have an older journal that I am no longer using because I didn't like the name and I didn't deem it necessary to pay $15 to change it instead of just beginning a new one. My old journal is also linked in my userinfo.

I am deleting the comment left because it was left on a personal entry describing me going to the ER after bleeding, thinking I was miscarrying. I would have preferred it on the first public entry.

Your first journal entry WAS the one I commented on. I always comment on just the first post I see because it's the most recent, I don't read the posts I just leave a link. Since it was the first entry I saw, I didn't go looking for a entry explaining that you had an older journal. The entry is now not public and you probably didn't mean for it to be public in the first place.. but it seems like it was also more recent, so again it was probably at the top of your journal.

Comment on this entry with your other user name and it will be reviewed. thanks.

I'd prefer to be denied, thank you.

Hiya, I know I haven't updated my journal in a year, this is because I have no internet access at work anymore. I used to post from there. So I mostly just read and comment. I'm pretty active in the naturalliving community, which is where I heard about this community. I don't want to sell any diapers, I just want to read about other people's experiences with them, so I will be more informed when I have a baby.

Anyway, I'm a real person and I'm not going to mis-use this community. I would be grateful if you would let me join. Thanks!

"If you've been denied or put on "hold" for any reasons that might be listed, there are ways to get your application approved. If you have a longtime member in our community that can vouch for you, that would help. Or if you have feedback on other sites such as ebay, diaperswappers, hyenacart, mdc, etc."

Do you have any of that?

Thank you so much!! You must be swamped with requests!

I feel pretty silly having to ask this, but how do I actually get in the community now that I've been approved?

Just make sure you added it to your watch list and it should automatically pop up under your friends.

Hello,

I previously tried joining when I had a brand new journal (as you can see from your notes on my membership request). I was pregnant and honestly unwilling to prove I was an actual person so I requested I be denied membership at the time.

I have since had my daughter and I would like to join if possible as I have cloth diapers I'd like to sell. We originally planned on CD'ing but it didn't pan out unfortunately.

I apologize for the manner in which our last discussion went, but I would appreciate the opportunity to become a member if at all possible. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or concerns. I also know a few members if you'd like someone to vouch for me.

Thank you,
Auphelia

The main purpose of the community is to gain more knowledge on the practice of clothdiapering, selling/trading/buying comes secondary. We do go through this process of reviewing membership to protect our existing members and future members, when they get to that point. Since you are only looking to join the community for the sole purpose of selling, you might want to check out the communities that are geared towards that. Your new diapers that have not been used, could be sold on Ebay. There is also hyenacart, diaperswappers, and mdc. I do apologize if anything in this response has come off rudely, I am not trying to come off that way at all.

Hello again,
I understand the reason for the denial on the original comment this reply is from. I have since begun cloth diapering my daughter on and off, and currently she is exclusively cloth diapered during the day since we're just starting out. We are traveling and moving in the next 2 months (CA -> FL, then CA -> Japan), and being newbies to the whole lifestyle (basically!) I am one again requesting membership. I am apart of diaperswappers like you suggested but I check LJ a 1000x more often since I mod a few comms here. I can unlock a few journal entries RE:our cloth switch if you'd like just for the heck of it. Like I mentioned previously I also know quite a few members who can vouch for me that I am in fact working on becoming a solely CD'ing parent.

Sorry for replying so many times, as I'm sure you can understand time changes things.

Thanks again, kimmlett.
