Kay guys, I'm leaving for Rome tomorrow morning so I won't be online for about two weeks (!)
Man, my parents are always like this. They're like "Nah, we'll figure something out" every time I ask them what our plans are for the holidays. So I though, hey, if we're going it won't be a long trip, right, maybe to Belgium for a few days? WRONG.

This can never go well )

Also, have lots and lots of fun in Rome - I've never been, but it's definitely way up on my list.

And cucumber, what a good idea! I don't really like celery, but it's pretty lucky that you can't really taste it in the salad... but cucumber would be a nice addition. And yeah, paprika also helps add a bit of a bite (when I made it for my friend, she was slightly opposed to the idea so I left it out - still tasty, though!). Yay cooking!

Yeah, we didn't have celery left because we used all of it in one of our Iranian herb stews (in which it tastes great and not so strong) but my mum thought cucumber was a better idea anyway.
Haha, cooking = awesome.

I think the Rome adventure sounds like it should be a fun one - I hope you can make peace with spontaneity and have a blast. :)
Glad to hear your cooking is going so well. You should post some pictures/recipes of your deliciousness!
