i know, it is so incredibly sad. he looked like such a happy, cool, successful guy. his family were so courageous too, and what a terrible ending to the agonizing waiting. so sad.

i know. i had tears in my eyes when i heard the news today, and i don't know them at all. my heart just breaks for the family.

i have been following this story, as well, and it broke my heart when i learned of its ending...

a friend of mine (who knows them/or knows someone who does) posted a plea for help about a week and a half back, before they even found them in their car or anything... when i first started seeing it on the news, it seemed so personal. i think because they seem so much like all of us. :(
