I’ve just voted in the LiveJournal election.

For the record, I voted for RM first, Legomymalfoy second and Jay Maynard third.

I’m really hoping that RM wins although at this point she’s playing serious catch up as she only has 1144 first choice votes to Legomymalfoy’s 2158.

Yesterday I broke my arm.

I picked up my bike after it’s annual service, then cycled down to Becksydee's office to pick up a parcel. I then started to cycle home.

I now have a new job working as a Print Manager for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, (today is day 3).

I’m being paid as a freelancer for the first 6 months, (which is handy for tax reasons) and thereafter we’re going to see how it goes. Ideally what I’d like to do is end up working three or four days a week so that I can also keep do some ( Read more... )

On May 14 the state of Israel will be 60 years old.

To not support the concept of a Jewish state, as a Jew, given the origins of it’s creation, (as a reaction to anti-Semitism, racism, pogroms and the Nazi holocaust) is, for me, a non-option. There’s a cool little film website that I’ve just found, The Responsibility Project.

Admittedly it’s been set up by an American business, (the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company), but the films are quite interesting, (one of them is actually really good) so I thought I’d share it.
