This is... phew, can't think of a word. :-) Adorable and sad and lovely and. I think you managed to write them very much in character. That's just Will and Jake after all those events; it's the dynamics between them that I think you've captured very well. - Does this make sense now? I'm afraid it doesn't. :-) I suck at reviews.

Jakob became more awkward, clumsier, once he was alone with his brother. - Perfect line. :D

German isn't that bad. ;-)

Well, maybe for you. :)

Wow, thank you so much. I'm glad you think I caught them - I've only seen the movie twice, so I was worried about them seeming out of character. And you most definitely do not suck at reviews. Yours made me feel very warm and fuzzy inside.

I'm also glad you liked that line. It was one of the hardest lines to get right.

Thanks again, your comments meant a lot. :D

Interesting. I especially like the idea of them not being alone together, and what happens when they are. Also reading this I was very much struck with a Supernatural comparison which for some reason I hadn't seen before.

Thank you!

Reading it now, I realize how similar it seems to (my interpretation of, at least,) the Supernatural brothers. Interesting, the way I didn't notice until you mentioned it. :)

Now though I totally want Sam and Dean as the brothers Grimm or Will and Jacob as hunters, or some sort of x-over. *sigh* there's just not really enough Brothers Grimm fic out there.

Oh my gods, that was the most depressing title I've ever read. Before I opened the link I knew it would be good.
