1. A friend of mine (one of the winners, nlc_beads) actually sent me that mascara from the US. Saved! I am very serious about mascara and lipgloss (although the only make-up I'm seriously picky about is mascara). Without mascara, I have no eyes. Without lipgloss (or some kind of balm, but the gloss looks better), I get chapped lips. Belly baby gets lipgloss kiss marks on the top of his head sometimes.
2. In the US, people tended to think I was either Canadian or British, but here, I've had everything from South African to Australian to Irish to Essex (kind of like Cockney) to Highlands (Highlands!!)..
4. Even if I lost, it would be awesome. (nlc_beads also sends me hot sauce when she finds it in the bargain bin. she leaves the price tags on so I don't think she spent loads on it and feel bad or something.)
When I was in college, I went to London for a semester and our professor/adviser LOVED going to Indian restaurants, getting the hottest curry and then putting hot sauce on it. He always said "If it doesn't leave little blisters on your tongue, it's not hot enough."
I always wanted to be his ulcer doctor.
My Dad went trick-or-treating all of his life. He'd take a glass with him, knock on the neighbors door and say trick or treat when they answered. He'd then get invited in for a scotch.
