All Souls' Day

Dust settled upon hard earth, adusk and crude, a web of wagon tracks and industry on the closing frontier. Everything you write is strange and fast and makes me go "what the raptor jesus?!" Always enjoyable though.

Have you seen a movie called the Fall? Some of the visuals here reminded me of it.

I'll have to check out that film, but this piece was more to showcase action of period crime drama with stories and legends of murderous hengeyokai shape shifters tossed into a blender. It seemed to click. Thank you for reading.

Hey, getting that much set-up and action crammed in under 2,000 words is pretty hard for me. Thank you for reading and being my third "Wow" so far XD

No, no, no, thank you for reading. If it was damn worth the read, I was happy to write it. I know it's longer than most, but I feel under 2,000 words isn't too much to ask. If things are worth working for, far be it to keep people from doing just that.

the vivid pictures you create are as engrossing as they can be disturbing.

Engrossing? Thank you. I felt that close quarters armed combat and monsters should be disturbing if adequately portrayed. Monsters and monstrosities should be startling. Thank you for reading!
