It's Tuesday! That means 24 day for most of us. The first workshop on denial will begin after tonight's episode.
However, some of us might not get to see it until tomorrow or thursday so just a quick new rule:
LJ-cut all spoilers and reactions until Monday.
I know you guys pretty much do it anyway, but just a friendly reminder.
So now that ( Read more... )

I love classic 70s rock. I don't know, that might be a good poll question.

I've found a love for it in recent years.

I'm still having fun imagining Kiefer trying to be like David Bowie. (God, I love that article.) *gleefully imagines Kiefer dressed as Ziggy Stardust*

Hee. That's a good article, even better picture.

I always loved it - 60s 70s rock is what I grew up on, really.

[surreptitiously polishes her CD collection... most of which are pirates, but that's not the point]

Rjd2 is always good. And there's this song by Free*Land called 'Burn The Clock' which is eerily close in sound to some of the 24 music. So much so that, given its name, I'm thinking it's deliberate.

And hey, I work in a radio station. Do I get to play 'DJ Saffy' for at least half an hour? ;)

Oooh, radio station. DJ Saffy! Okay, you get first shift with the music :)

I'm gonna trust your music judgement.

Oooh, radio station.

To be fair, I do speak of local radio station Heartland FM which as you can see has the most fantastical, informative and up-to-date website ever.

DJ Saffy! Okay, you get first shift with the music :)

Hurrah! Particularly bearing in mind that I've only been here for two days, whereas I've been at Heartland for about two and half years and most I've done there is make the occasional appearance on my boss's show and provided the voice for one advert. Though that may be something to do with the fact that I don't like microphones.

I'm gonna trust your music judgement.

Eeeeeeexcellent. :) [cracks knuckles]

LOL, oh yes, very informative.

That's okay, we've only been around two days. It's the rule, when you get in at the beginning all the good jobs are still available ;)

heee.

If there is any playing of country / western, I will vomit. Copiously. Projectile vomiting over everybody in the club.

But beyond that, I'm cool :)

Well, that would be, obviously a Very Bad Thing.

Aw, c'mon, some Hank Williams? *ducks*

If I can write Jack / Kate for you, I can stand a few Hank Williams songs. But only because you're the best friend ever. :)

Aw, you're the bestest, you know that?

I can't explain the Jack/Kate thing - I think it's probably because of all those romance novels I've been reading.
