The other day my boss asked if I would maybe be interested in eventually becoming a shift supervisor. Christmas was low key and we totally ignored the New Year. I worked New Years Eve and Day and the day after that, but it seems that the company will not be paying out any holiday pay, which is kind of lame. I came home this weekend and John changed one of the rooms from his climbing gear man cave into an office so that I have a place to do my work and file my stuff. Yesterday I started training to become a CASA (court-appointed special advocate) for children in my county in foster care. These cases are the worst of what CPS investigates and all the children have been removed from the home and in some cases the parental rights will be terminated and the children will be placed for adoption.
