If those...fiends think that they could make a mockery of us in such a disgusting manner...I'm just tired of feeling as though they are one step ahead of us, and that their actions speak of the smug confidence they feel that they could get away with such deeds.
Yet now, the battle is personal. Merlin...I mean...I've only talked to her just recently! It's no longer a question of when, Tonks, but how. About time they get their comeuppance, and that is putting it lightly.

I want to get back at them. I don't care who. It's not like we can find out exactly who the monsters are that did this without an investigation.
But I say fuck an investigation. Let's just go out and find some Death Eaters. Any Death Eaters. I don't care who. Make them pay for Emmeline, make them pay for everyone.

I too have the same desire to seek vengence, Tonks. Yet now is not the time for rash actions. The Death Eaters are not only causing these atrocities as a statement, but to also in a sense draw us out until none of us are left standing. To have us act rashly without plan or strategy would do us more harm than good.
To give in to our urge to seek hasty justice would do us no good. Remember that in time all of them will be punished. What we must do now is gather everyone and formulate a cohesive plan. As they say, Tonks...live today, fight tomorrow.

Oh, but I know you're right. But I can't do nothing, I can't stand around and do nothing! Emmeline doesn't live, and she can't fight tomorrow. Tomorrow it could be you, it could be Remus, could be any of us.
It's like some horrible trap. Fight, we fall into it. Don't fight, we fall into it. But we have to do something!
I don't know why they would have done something like that. It's bloody insane is what it is.
Was it just me or did it seem like she was hiding something at the last meeting? If she knew, she should have given us warning I...you're right, we shouldn't blame her. She likely had her reasons. Maybe to prevent anything worse from happening.

I know you are upset. We all are; some have reasons to be more than others. The night she died, her star went out. One I had given her when we were just 5th years at Hogwarts, but I knew the moment she passed. Her star dimmed that night to rejoin others in the night sky, but her death shall not be in vain.
We will find the ones responsible, I promise, but we must all keep a level head and stay in close contact with one another. I'm not going to die on you, nor will I let you do the same on me. Now I am uncertain whether or not you will wear what I have enclosed, but I want to put forth the effort to prevent the passing of another person I love dearly.
