Now I think I can take a much deserved rest now that it is all finally over. Everyone is safe and those who need it are being well taken care of. I, for one, am relishing the fact that Fenrir Greyback will no longer terrorize the Wizarding World. It's high time he was finally stopped. Thank you, Harry, for all you have done for us.

It's been rather quiet as of late.  Too quiet.  Leads me to think that something is brewing on the horizon.  When I was in school, silence and solitude was something rarely achieved, and something I quite enjoyed on occassion especially with the company I kept at Hogwarts, but now, when it happens, I feel...I don't know, lonely?

Blimey. I have a date of sorts. With Tonks. I'm a nervous wreck as it is and this couldn't have come at a better time as I've just gotten over my...well, you know. What do you do on dates? I'm too old for this kind of behavior. Anyone have suggestions? I know the "younger" sort could help me out.

The funeral was very fitting. The phoenix's song simply added to an atmosphere where I already felt like air was being sucked from my lungs. He will be missed but his death shall not be in vain.

The holidays were rather nice this year. Spending time at the Burrow with Harry and the others really lifted my spirits.
