I'm going for "relief".

it's really tough to settle down on one feeling. i definitely felt relief when mccain/palin lost on election night. since then, the problems/issues have mounted, and now the feeling is more "cautiously optimistic"about the future: less church, more state. i definitely felt happy today as obama was sworn into office. it was a nice respite.
