ah, the hilarity of toddlers. this week rohan has taken to shuffling in circles until he's dizzy. then he'll stop and do it again. if i do it too, he laughs and goes in circles with me. sometimes a song will prompt him to do it, too.

i've noticed that it seems something clicks every week, and he'll do a new behavior a bunch of times, marveling at

soooo happy right now.

we're in boston! the drive was pretty uneventful-- rohan napped, we listened to "this american life" podcasts-- until we got to ma. we stopped, filled up, and changed rohan's diaper. then, we put rohan back into his carseat-- uh-oh. we ended up with a crying infant with about 40 miles to go. he finally calmed down a bit 20 mins in (we fed him ( Read more... )

we stayed at a house in becket, ma over the weekend with reba and jack, her poodle. the berkshires are amazing. the leaves are past their peak and fluttering down fast. winter is settling in. rohan slept so well out in the middle of nowhere. no tmobile reception, spotty satellite tv, internet, an awesome kitchen equipped with bosch appliances ( ( Read more... )
