Does anyone here rent out apartments? I don't think I'm getting a family any time soon, so instead of getting a house for myself I'm thinking of buying a multi-family house and renting the units out. I'd like to hear from anyone who has had the experience, and can offer tips (resources, contacts, books, etc.) on getting started.

I've noticed that my old brick of a phone wasn't doing anything for me socially--why are personal electronics a status indicator now? I have caught myself trying to split infinitives three times in the last two minutes.

Well, I'm in it for good, now. Dropped a couple of C-notes on a snowboard, boots, and bindings. It was a clearance sale, though, so I only had to say bye to Benjamin twice. Remember the scene in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, where Napoleon first experiences water slides? Such was my joy yesterday, after my first snowboard lesson. I'm tired and my entire left side's sore (now knowing what exactly is meant by "catching an edge"), but it was brilliant. I only wish I had thought of trying it out sooner this winter.
