I've been reading the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, as well as a Douglas Adam's non-fiction book "Last Chance To See" (really great). I'm also looking into reading more Chuck Palahniuk (he wrote Fight Club and a bunch of other books).

my buddy just referred christopher moore's "lamb" and it's hilarious. it's the early years of jesus christ told through the eyes of his best friend biff.

biff in the present day writing down his memoirs for an angel, silently pleading with jesus: "come now, i'll order a pizza from room service. you would like pizza. the servant who brings it is named jesus. and he's not even a jew. you always like irony."

as far as palahnuik goes, read "survivor". it's amazing. i never finished "choke", but i hear it's good too.

Palahniuk is also a good read, so I second those. I wasn't a big fan of Survivor but I LOVED Invisible Monsters.
