Today (the 7th) marks the five year anniversary of the death of a friend, Amelia Worth (mmmbopthis). It's hard to believe it's been five years and at the same time, it seems like so long ago. I just saw that Max Baucus got his healthcare bill through committee. It does not include the public option. It's not even a good compromise (although I don't believe there is a good compromise from the public option, not at this time...more on that below).
