If you vote in Oregon:

Mail in ballots need to have 59 cents worth of postage on the envelope to get to the elections office or the ballot MAY be returned to you. http://www.kval.com/news/31221134.html.

yeah, and I found out today that it's actually only in Lane County that this is a problem. In the rest of Oregon, it's 42 cents.

That's still bullshit. Stupid 59 cent tax on democracy. Bastards. Non-voters should have to pay voters minimum wage for the time it takes them to fulfill their democratic duty. And also give them a ticker-tape parade.
