anxiety

whenever things go wrong here at work, I feel a bit of anxiety.

mostly its when we have patients waiting and now cuz of our "problem", we end up pushing patients back... and I feel bad that we have to do that. I feel stressed when they complain about "how much longer?" and I feel anxiety cuz now we have that much more to catch up on instead of my so ( Read more... )

I think a certain degree of that is completely normal, given what you have to deal with. Is your anxiety interfering with your daily life? Is it negatively impacting your ability to function in some way? Was it brought on just by this specific stressful event in such a way that removing yourself from the stress would eliminate the anxiety, or is it something that is pretty bad all the time, not dramatically affected by stressful events?

Those are questions I would consider before going to a doctor. The reason I say this is because sometimes doctors will just throw drugs at people who don't really need them. However, if you do really think you have a problem, you should see a doctor...even though you'll likely want to put it off due to the anxiety itself.

Is it negatively impacting your ability to function in some way? ONLY AT WORK...I GET SO FLUSTERED I MESS EVERYTHING UP

i more or less don't like to NOT be in control of myself or emotions...
