MY DREAMS HAVE COME TRUE!!! I sat in a tent full of hippies smoking pot and doing mushrooms...

I have been through the desert on a horse with no name, and I have returned to this "real" world of ours. All I can say is that Burning Man was an amazing experience. It has changed my mentality on how to view many of the things that occur in my daily life. So now on to what happened out there... Well my friend Jeremy and I showed up around 9:30 ( Read more... )

Did you get laid or not? Or only to some quantity of bases?
In either case it sounds like you had an awesome time, I've heard of Burning Man, but it's a bit out of my way.

Yes, Canada rocks, I'm in Vancouver.

Does Dale stand for anything, or just Dale? Not that I have any idea what Dale could stand for, I'm just been surprised by nicknames before.

And don't feel too bad about the whole "Chip and Dale" thing. I've got a friend named Fred. He's married to a gal named Wilma...There is nothing new you can come up with that he hasn't heard before. I also know a girl from highschool who's name is Tara Rist. (Say that fast a couple of times)

I'm not much of a baseball fan, so I'm not quite sure what base to equate the experience to, besides everyone has there own definition. As for the name Dale, it is a family name, but actually it is my middle name, my first name is Tracy. It's a long story but I've always just gone by Dale. Poor Tara, George W. has said some awful things about your friend, and I am sure that most of them are unfounded accusations or made on false intelligence.

Heh.

Now, it seems with Dale and Tracy, it'd be a small step to have named you Dick Tracy.

You got three names total? I got four to six (depending on whether you include or uninclude the hebrew names)

Hi Dale,

How are you doin? Sounds like you had a lot of fun at Burningman. My boyfriend's brother and his girlfriend just got back from there; they go every year (LJ names "headquarters" and "missmuppy"; I wonder if you saw them there? Maybe not considering there's like 30,000 people there). We were just over at their place today looking at some of the pictures they took and I read a couple of the newspapers from Burningman, too. I know they had a blast and I'm sure you did, too! You were careful not to accidently wander into the "Jiffy Lube," weren't you?

P.S. Considering the fact that you like art and you like to do cartoon strips, a favourite of mine is Maakies. It's from up here in Seattle so you probably haven't seen it before. It is funny as shit, in my opinion, I hope you'll get a kick out of it, too! Let me know what you think.

I'm doin fine, I just moved back to Corvallis on Sat. (Ace and I have an apartment together now). Yeah, what with the 35,000+ people attending BM, chances are I didn't see your friends, but ya never know. And no...I didn't wander into Jiffy Lube, in fact my friend and I entertained the idea of holding hands as we walked by, so it looked like we were taken. Burning Man is an amazing place though, both times I've gone I have learned something very important. It's good to hear from ya though, how are things? Do you start school soon/already? Well, I still got to set up the apartment, so I'll talk to ya later.
