Greeley is once again highlighted in the media with the news about Joshua Heidbrink being shot while serving a mission in Chesapeake, Virginia.  Though he survived, his companion wasn't so lucky.

Harvesting my sunflowers... One head made it to 15" diameter. Very proud. Going to try a roasting experiment: hot-air popcorn popper. Some web sites say it's good for roasting coffee beans (rather useless to me,) so I'll try the test... Will post results here.

But, I did successfully complete my Woodbadge training, convert my CallCenter App to Windows XP, set up my own wireless internet receiver on top of my 50' rohn-25 tower (eyeballed the alignment and got -62db, excellent connection!), and meet with Scout Training staff to organize dates for upcoming training events.
