Is there any place in town that will buy used books? I'm going to be moving soon, and I have a bunch of books I would like to sell.

You might try The Bookman on the west side or Poor Richard's Bookstore downtown.

My friend just opened up her own store. She's having the grand opening tomorrow and Saturday, so if you stop by it could be busy, but would likely be a fun time to check it out. But she buys used books, so it would be pretty perfect for you : )

Oops, sorry I copied it and everything.
Here's the address:
2515 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910

And here's the FB link in case you're interested in information about the grand opening.

I know Hooked on Books, if it's still there (Maizeland and Academy), will take used books for trade in value. I don't know if they give cash for them or not.

I imagine they only take what they need.

I just tried this as well, I just checked values on eBay and unfortunately, most books are barely worth the effort to try to sell them. But you can always release them into the universe via Goodwill.
