The poem in the previous post was one I wrote in Creative Writing class, and was written to one person in particular.

If only I’d known

What you’d bring

To my life:

Everything.

You are my friend

The best I have

The stories we share

The times we laugh;

From unexpected places

True friends come;

An odd couple we make,

Understood by none.

When first we met

I have the house to myself for three days, Sunday night to Wednesday.

Time to have some fun.

I'm so fucking glad my senior exit shit is over, and I never have to think about goddamn Net Neutrality again if I don't want to.

However, having a perfect score on both the paper and the presentation was a nice ego boost, I have to admit.

I am shamelessly stealing this idea from Rema, because I like it and need something to write right now.  Most of the people this is directed at will never read this, and that is a good thing.  I just need to get it out, for as much my sake as that of everyone else ( Read more... )

I like to consider myself an eloquent person.  I tend to use a lot of big words, and my sentence structure is usually quite good.  The thing is, I think a lot of people believe that I'm overly proper with my grammar on purpose ( Read more... )
