Nope. "The Opposite" would have to mean the opposite of "Opposite," which it doesn't.

The answer is "shit." When you put the word "the" in front of "shit," you get "the shit," which is the opposite of "shit." If something is the shit, then it ain't shit!

Shit = something that's crappy -- "dude, your electric guitar is shit!"
The Shit = something that's awesome -- "dude, your electric guitar is the shit!"
