Crossing the finish line
So this morning (or perhaps you'd call it yesterday morning) I left London, starting with the Gatwick Express out of the well-known Victoria Station. As we pulled out of the depot, there was an incredible view of Battersea Power Station, but I was too lazy to take out my camera. London Review
London is a really amazing city. I'd call it the most graceful combination of post/modern and old/ancient architecture I've ever seen. As expected, the food is not that great, but the sites are incredible, the people are (with only one exception) very nice, and I finally "minded the gap" (between the platform and the tube train ( Read more... ) -
