I've left Matt at home in bed. While his temperature is high it isn't crazy high, but I rather stupidly wanted to see what the other symptoms of swine flu were and appear to have got him tamiflu.  Well I've been eating very little gluten the past few days, although I've still not managed a completely gluten-free day! Friday it was the accidental chapatti, saturday the accidental popadum and last night the fish I did for dinner was coated in a very very light batter. I've been having really horrible digestion issues lately, which means i've been feeling sick almost constantly. I felt better on wednesday, when I had left over chilli and rice for lunch. So I heard from a good friend who now lives in America that he is getting married in April, and would like us to come to the wedding.

 plastic pickle/gherkin?

Its a long(ish) story, but I am making a birthday cake for someone and it needs to have a pickle-theme. I'm going to make it vaguely pickle-shaped and cover it in green icing, but the icing on the cake (ha!) would be a plastic pickle on the top.
