why am i so upset right now?
i think im just tired

i havent updated here in a bit
and the prospect of doing so was looking good
but i always get to this intimidatiing blank space
and then that becomes my mind
and intimidating blank space

and i think
that today, much like yesterday
im so happy
i wish she could see that

but neiher of us wanted to drive in that mess

and then the sky turned yellow
and filled me
like a lemon drop
the double rainbows
hovered right over the house

( nearly 2 thousand years after one man had been nailed to a tree for saying how great it would be to be nice to people for a change )

her hair spread out across my chest
her breath hung in my ear
floating through the midnight air
and
under the covers my figertips met hers
and i just let everything go

but ive missed being that carefree for a while
and forgive me for that
