It's a little unbelievable that the year is finally over. I can't remember not having any work to do! (well, nothing immediately - then I have to delve into Herman Meliville and John Edwards) Graduation today was very nice, but I was sad to see some of the seniors leaving. The math B was straightfoward, except for one ridiculously irrelevant

I love Scheherazade.It's an amazing piece. I played it last summer at camp. Graduation was good today, but quite sad. Well, have fun in Sicily. We'll have to get together over the summer to play music!

what john irving book? i love everything he writes. i read the cider house rules last summer while i was in italy. haha you should bring that one with u while ur in sicily, it would be perfect, though it is a dern long and heavy book :) have fun this summer!

i haven't read those ones. at my old school we read owen meany in 11th grade so i wanted to save it. but now that i'm at fox lane maybe i'll read that one. i know its like incredible. i am doing nothing really this summer. i'm away for one week, like july 3rd-10th or something and then i'm away july 31-august 7 for a latin program in kentucky. other than that i'm working, practicing and reading.
